Green Xiem Coconut, or Xiem Xanh in Vietnamese, from Ben Tre Province has been granted with Certificate for Geographical Indication from the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam. The Xiem Xanh Coconut is quite distinct from others due to its smaller size and a green skin. Each coconut contains an average of 258ml of water with sweeter taste and has more nutrition and health benefits.
